It's ANZAC day tomorrow in Australia and like many Australians, I have prepared some ANZAC biscuits to enjoy on the public holiday. These are a bit of a variation from traditional ANZAC biscuits as they contain no flour. I made them with a mixture of @barleymax flakes, almonds and coconut. They are reallllyyyy yummy and I am not sure if there will be any leftover by tomorrow ;)⠀ If you would like the recipe let me know and I can also send some BARLEYmax flakes your way.

Pada umumnya buah yg dijus tentu saja akan melewati proses penyaringan. Cairan yang dihasilkan mengandung sebagian besar vitamin, mineral yang ditemukan di buah utuh. Namun, buah utuh juga memiliki serat sehat, yang hilang selama proses pembuatan jus. . Oleh krn itu kita tidak akan mendapatkan manfaat serat yang terkandung dalam buah utuh diantaranya yaitu mendukung pencernaan, mengendalikan gula darah dan menurunkan kolesterol, menurut American Dietetic Association. Serat juga membantu Anda merasa kenyang lebih lama, manfaat ini lah yang penting dlm yang sedang berusaha utk menurunkan BB Anda. . Tetapi, jgn khawatir minum jus itu masih menyehatkan tubuh loh dgn semua vitamin, mineral, antioksidan, gula dlm buah dan nutrisi lain yang tersedia di seluruh buah. Bahkan jus dapat membuat nutrisi ini lebih terserap dalam tubuh. . Tapi jg hrs waspada ya, krn jika kita tdk membuat jus itu sendiri/membeli produk olahan, kita tidak tahu apa saja yang ditambahkan dalam jus tersebut termasuk tambahan gula yang berlebihan yang bisa menyumbang untuk kenaikan berat badan juga loh. Jadi kalau mau bikin jus mending bikin sendiri aja ya dirumah. . I love eating plants! Maybe not something I would have said as a kid... I would just like to take a moment to brag on a couple of clients 😊 Both have made HUGE changes in their diets to improve their health and both are reaping the rewards of those changes 👏🏼 The first client I’m thinking of 1️⃣ came into my office concerned primarily for her children’s health and well-being. We discussed good food choices, portion sizes, general guidelines for feeding a healthy family. The second client 2️⃣ came to me because she’d been diagnosed with prediabetes and after many years of fad diets just didn’t know what to do to improve her health. 😕 Both these ladies have taken ownership of their health and the health of their families. Both have changed their shopping, cooking, and eating habits to include more vegetables and less processed foods. 👍🏼 Neither have “perfect” diets ❌ But both have made improvements ✅ One of these ladies said to me today “I’ve lost inches on my waist, I know it because a jacket that never used to fit, now fits! But the scale hasn’t changed ... so I said ‘to hell with you, scale’ because I feel better and I look better”. SO PROUD!!!! 😁 The scale can only give you a number. Don’t let it influence how you feel about yourself. ❌ Don’t let it tell you if you’ve succeeded or failed. ❌ That’s for you to decide.
