Missed Friday practice so I could stay for femmewalla, so I showed up Saturday AM and got a whopping 6 laps of practice. Lined up and won my first heat, and was 5th in my second because I wasn't aggressive enough. During the break I decided I deserved the piece of dirt just as much as the other guy and I wasnt going to give if someone came over on me. I won my 1st main and came in 3rd in my second. I decided to bump up and try some tougher classes on Sunday and lined up to a 10 bike grid and these guys were aggressive, 3 crashes and I was in 5th in my heat. Next two heats I was 3rd and 2nd. In my first main the guy behind me sent it, right into the side of my bike. I managed to keep it upright and just have some battle scars on the bike and a bruise on my hip. I improved my position and was 4th in that main. A poor start put me 4th in my next main and I managed a 2nd in my final main. Huge thanks to Jim at Southland and the rest of the boys for the invite. I can't thank @m enough for loaning and prepping the bike, sorry about adding character to the 230! Queen creek was a very welcoming group and I can't wait to come back.
