Yesterday, I had cabin fever and was ready to get outside to enjoy the day. The snow had melted, and the temperature was comfortably above freezing, as opposed to the arctic blast we've had in the eastern part of the United States lately. I had my sights set on going to one location, but as looked at the map, I noticed an icon for a waterfall I had never heard of, and it was along a mountain road I had never traveled. The destination was set!
Just beyond the community of Oronoco, VA, heading west on highway 60 toward Buena Vista, there's a gravel road to the right. The narrow road is a scenic drive, often following the Pedlar River. This is just one of many scenes I captured.
