“I’ve always wanted to get into films. I thought I’d come to Mumbai to see what happens. But it was tough. There were days when I’ve cried also because I wasn’t getting any work. I didn't know where I was going to go from there. But I didn't let that bring me down - I still worked hard and talked to people around. I even watched interviews of inspiring people from the film industry who all had similar stories, who were in worse situations than me and had made it… and that kept me going!
I was recently an AD on Parmanu. I’m looking forward to more projects now. But I don’t want to waste any time, this is the age to work hard, so I’m pursuing an MA in English literature while trying to find more work. I’m keeping myself busy and productive. I know that one day it’ll all work out. I’ve seen what the bottom looks like - so it just has to go uphill from here, right?”
