3 years ago I had quit teaching Culinary Arts to pursue a job that didn’t work out. Working in restaurants and food service since I was 15 owning a place of my own was always the goal. Some days the busyness gets to me, most days, and I forget how not only fortunate I am that i have been able to chase my dream, but that I’ve got the guts to go out and do it and with an amazing woman by my side holding down the home while daddy goes to work quite literally every day. I walk this hall when I’m all alone and I honestly get a little choked up that this place is mine. My blood is in the walls, also quite literally. This is only the beginning friends. 2019 is gonna be big. Chase your dreams not the competition. You are better than you think you are. It is all possible if you want it. There are no helicopter rides to the summit. You must endure the climb. Enjoy the process. Christmas Day is nice, but it’s the build up to it that is sweet. Endure the pain, the failures, the tears, the beginning, and enjoy the sweetness of owning something besides regret.
