I still can't believe it. Though in my defense it's a lot to believe!
Two weeks ago my darling @danlueers
told me to pack my bags for a hiking trip, so needless to say when we arrived at LAX with tickets BOUND FOR ALASKA I was stunned, elated and, it would be fair to say, almost literally over the moon.
The very next day Dan told me there was one more surprise but that it wasn't very big. This time we arrived at a helipad, but that wasn't enough for my Romeo - our helicopter was glacier bound! When we came across the pass and landed among 42 tiny igloos this incredible surprise transitioned to a complete and utter dream world.
Off we went, onto the snow, surrounded by a chorus of dogs. As the sled slowed, Dan stepped onto the glacier and knelt. As his beautiful speech unfolded, time began to stand still and all that followed was feeling. A feeling that left me on the snow too, covered in a pile of hugs, tears and yesses, completely overwhelmed and engulfed in this incredible gift of a moment in time.
I truly hope everyone is lucky enough to live in a dream like this. I could not possibly be more full of gratitude's not only for the incredible man by my side but also for everything that has led us both here. Both the ups and the downs. Have faith my friends, life is truly beautiful.
