Did you know that being in nature can reduce anger, fear, and stress? Nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it can also contribute to your physical wellbeing, by reducing heart rate and the production of stress hormones.
Nature gives me the feeling of peacefulness, harmony and balance. Time slows down and I have a better understanding of who I am as I experience my own quiet peace and strength. And just the beauty of what nature offers, I always feel connected to Allah from pondering at the strength of the mountain , and how high and long it’s been standing there !
And I get a sense of belonging to the Earth being a part of the nature community. It might sound funny but I feel one with the birds and trees like on some Pocahontas status. 🌱
I highly recommend taking a stroll through a park or trying hiking for once if you haven’t yet. It will give you a new perspective on life and give you that mini escape you need from the hustle and bustle of life.
