TLS® CINNAMON APPLE SHAKE
Cinnamon and apples are a staple Fall flavor combination. Whether it’s in the pies or crumbles, cinnamon apple pie is one of those classic desserts we can’t resist! Today, we’re going to twist the recipe a bit by making it into a simple, nutritious shake! Thanks to your TLS® Nutrition Shake, you’ll be enjoying over 20 types of minerals and vitamins as well as fiber and protein. With apples being available throughout the year, this is one of those Thanksgiving shake recipes you can make all year long! 🍎
PREP TIME: 10 MINS
*1 Honeycrisp apple
*2 scoops of TLS® Nutrition Shake – Vanilla
*1 tsp brown sugar
*½ tsp cinnamon
*1 cup water
*Sliced apples, to garnish
Cut apples into small pieces, mix with ¼ tsp of cinnamon.In a saucepan, heat over low heat, stir in apples and brown sugar until melted.Cover saucepan and let simmer for 5 minutes or until tender and soft.Remove apples from pan, set aside and let cool.In a blender, blend all ingredients until smooth and frothy. If you would like a thicker consistency, you can add 1 Tbsp of TLS Nutrition Shake.Pour in a glass, garish with apple slice on the edge of the glasses + top with cinnamon
