CAUSES OF ANXIETY
🌊Build up of water, the dam breaks, it's scares the life out of you, you feel you've failed because you feel responsible you weren't able to hold the water back. Failure becomes a focus instead of understanding and healing. Fear of it happening again takes over.
🌊Don't blame yourself because you didn't know how to let the emotions go. Sometimes these emotions are not big woppers they are small amounts of daily stress that creep up gradually and before you know it it's overwhelming and feels hard to deal with.
🌊So when the dam does break without your consent, this is a sign of strain, your body is actually serving you well and forcing a release, yes anxiety is like hell but remember and imagine when a dam really breaks you get 10 mins of catastrophy and then gradually calm waters, anxiety is the same, unless you decise to hold on to the catastrophy moment it does calm, its fear that keeps you in the catastrophy. (It happens to many people, happened to me, fear ruled for 6 months) Try to focus on 'it's TIME to heal, to show yourself compassion and search ways to calm the flood, it does slow, you can go back to feeling like yourself but you must learn new ways, the old ways caused a flood, new ways to keep the water flowing calm.🙏
