This girl right here has an AWESOME animal project presentation today. Her animal? Mandrills. (Which we have called purple butt monkeys for as long as we’ve been going to zoos and hanging out waiting for one to poop. Yep. You get quite the life experience when you are my child. 😂) Taylor has been working hard for quite a while assembling her research and combing the internet for pictures. This weekend, she typed all her research and I helped her cut out the parts. She truly did it all - I just did what she told me to do. (Except with spelling errors. We fought to the death on those)
She came up with her costume and I sewed on the “butt.” And then this morning? She woke 45 minutes early so we would have plenty of time for hair and face paint! (And we needed every moment!) Love this girl and her time management, work ethic, attention to detail, and artistic vision!!!
These are the fun things. I absolutely love hanging out with the kids and bringing their visions to reality!
