Biggest reality check: instead of saying “I don’t have time”, tell yourself “it’s not a priority”. When I would set my alarm for 7 am or 6am and then lay in bed until 7 am to be out the house at 8, I didn’t have time either.
When I’d come home from work, make dinner, do house chores, and then get in bed and watch TV for 1-2 hours, I “didn’t have” time either.
Then there was a mindset shift. That my health is more important. So I set my alarm clock earlier in the morning. Shut my TV off earlier at night. I made the time to make myself health a priority.
So the next time you’re unhappy with how you feel, look, etc. and wallow in a pity party of how you don’t have time to exercise and make healthy food, tell yourself “it’s not a priority” and feel how much harder that is to accept.
