If you were a what would your story be?
What would you say, when someone cut you down?
Would you have lived a long life, tall and strong, crooked and wise?
Would your rings show struggle, triumph, continuation to grow?
Would your rings show lack of water, little sunlight, or abundant growth?
Would your rings show courage, beauty, and undeniable strength?
When someone cut you down, would your sucker shoots grow, and overcome the cut-down?
Would you continue to grow or give up and decompose willingly.
Many questions to ask a tree, many things to learn from looking at their story telling rings.
A main question remains though, why must we continue to cut down a tree in order to truly appreciate the extensive depth and detail of a growing Being, regardless of species reason why we watch them fall.
Some say it’s necessary, necessary to fall a tree.
Some say it’s harmful, cruel and sad to see.
Regardless of why, regardless of how, when and which way. We all come down, someday some how.
The fall is profound and the details remain constant.
We live, we thrive, we grow upward in many forms and all kinds of ways.
We need not fall one another to appreciate and admire all the ways we grow.
We need not cut ourselves open to see our inner rings to truly appreciate that we are all mighty Trees. Standing tall.
All growing and reaching for the sunlight and singing in the rainfall.
Here to provide inspiration and give back by what we take in. So more trees can grow
