Credit to @oleg.kharus for taking these photos that are probably my favorite ever of Ben. I taught him well 📸 I’m so blessed and thankful that Oleg shares my interests and has started to learn how about photography in order to help me improve and support me. @lion.ramphotography
Happy Monday! We've been so inspired by all of the recent #gowithnugget shots that we've seen from our community. This week, we're going to share a few of our favorites here on our page! First up is this stunning photo from @shauna_roughley of her little ones exploring Mt. Norquay in Banff National park. This area is a must-see in both summer and winter and offers tons of outdoor opportunities including hiking, skiing, chairlift rides and more!⠀
If you've visited Banff with kids before, what are some activities you'd recommend to other families? Let us know in the comments! #gowithnugget⠀
This badass chicka just turned 3 last month and already holds a hiking record. She is now the youngest to ever hike and complete the Nootka Island Trail on her own.
She tackled the 40km trail over 7 days, with such happiness and positivity, and approached every challenge with strength and fearlessness!
I am beyond proud of you my dear, can’t wait to break more records with you!
Congratulations Autumn Sarah💪🧗♀️
The kids love finding treasures. On this beach we found two full caribou skeletons. Exploring later we found a caribou hunting camp on the tundra above the beach. At this camp we also saw Tundra Swans and Sandhill Cranes. So much exploring to do on the Tuktoyaktuk Peninsula. #canoetripping#explorerkids
I’ve drafted this image to post a few times - and I always hold back. Maybe bc of the limb chops all over the place. But then I look past that and I embrace what I love - the feeling of being right there, that sunshine, my sons gorgeous body that’s growing so fast, the carefree feeling. So, here’s to stepping outside our comfort zone on this Monday!
The Almendres Cromlech near Évora, Portugal is the largest Megalithic site in the Iberian Penisula: 95 huge granite menhirs eerily aligned with the moon, sun and stars. It is two thousand years OLDER than Stonehenge yet almost unheard of by most tourists and accessed only by driving down a dirt track for four kilometres. What a wonderful discovery! #offthebeatentrack#hiddenportugal
Ever since I started planning our East Coast trip Mathilde has been obsessed with lobsters. You may have even seen her alter-ego “Pinchy, everybody’s pet big girl lobster” in my stories.
You can imagine her excitement when we arrived in Plymouth last week and discovered fun lobster statues all over town. We ended up spending the afternoon going on a “Pinchy hunt” trying to find as many as we could.
Today we have more lobster fun planned so make sure to keep an eye on my stories.
Our in-laws came to visit this weekend and the hotel where they stayed had a pool and hot tub. The kids loved it. They spent hours Saturday and Sunday going from the hot tub to the pool and having a blast. They slept well too 😉.
Schloss Biebrich is a nice summer outing. The massive park has lots of shade, a fountain and a fun playground. The kids were happy to run around here, followed by dinner and ice cream by the Rhein. We literally had ate ice cream every single day!
