New Earth. We love volcanoes. Love. It's a strong word, but true. Whether at sea or land an erupting volcano is the earth telling us it's alive. Adding layers to our planet that previously weren't there. Ask us our ideal way to spend a day, and it's photographing people, horses and volcanoes in that order. . . #volcano #java #bromo #indonesia #indo #documentary #travel #docu #documentaryphotography #repoortagespotlight #everydayasia #everydayeverywhere #farfeatures #featureshot #feature #photojjournalism #shoutheastasia #aoundtheworld #documentarynow @eszt_

[15/15] LE MANS RACERS: This is Vince eating his Maggie noodles. He's the tyre man for Clearwater Racing and this photo was taken three hours from the finish of the 24 Hours Of Le Mans. He was tired, as all the crew were, without sleep. This was the first time Vince and the rest of the Singapore-based team had been to Le Mans. After securing pole position in qualifying they narrowly missed out on a podium and finished fourth in the race. Vince and a few of the others guys cried at the finish. For many racers and crew the 24 Hours Of Le Mans is the pinnacle of their careers. Qualifying and even finishing is a huge achievement. I really like this photo of Vince. In the middle of one of the world's biggest sporting events, surrounded by multimillionaires, celebrities, thousands of fans and European food, Vince takes a quiet moment to enjoy his Maggie noodles. I think he ate at least five pots. Vince and the team from Singapore vow to be back next year at Le Mans. We hope to see them there. [06/06] BROMO BURNS: Mount Bromo is one of Indonesia's most active volcanoes. For the 90,000 Tenggerese tribespeople who live in the surrounding mountains an eruption isn't a natural event, it's spiritual. The Hindu tribe believe gods inhabit the volcano. At the annual Yadnya Kasada festival hundreds of locals throw animals sacrifices into the crater for the gods to feast on. [05/06] BROMO BURNS: Volcanic dust rains down from Mount Bromo's 3,000-metre ashcloud, blanketing the region for miles around. The rich, fertile farmlands are home to onion and tomato farms owned by the Tenggerese tribe that live in Bromo's surrounding villages. When we were there in December during heightened volcanic activity, houses, hotels, cars and farms were covered in thick dust. The sky was grey for miles around as sunlight was blocked out by the massive plumes. [05/06] . . . #travelgram #mountbromo #volcano #java #ash #hiking #indonesia #indonesia_photography #farfeatures

[03/06] BROMO BURNS: Our friend Surpi and national park ranger Suyano debate whether an eruption is imminent at Mount Bromo.
