Mika's homecoming🇫🇯❤️• Humbling, the little things in life. @ravalawamikaele 's return to his village, Galoa•
Something that would probably seem pretty small and insignificant to many but to me and I am sure the boys on the bus that saw it, something special about what it is to represent a little spec in the middle of the pacific.•
Mika was never tasked with an opportunity to play yet his village lined the streets for his return under the Bati banner.•
This kid is going to be a weapon. And although he didn't get the nod to showcase it yet, through more and more hard work, he is going to be a force in the future. Sometimes in life you "make it" yet you get stuck behind some of the greats. Use that as fuel for the for to lift yourself up to and then over them.•
The future is looking good for Fiji. The pathways provided by both codes is going from strength to strength. Little things like this showcase the pride and hope of the community in people representing them on the big stage. Humbling and amazing experience to witness first hand how it all comes full circle. This place raised and shaped him for him to represent them and come back and embrace each other this way. Western world looks down from a pedestal upon high at some of the things others below them have. Sometimes people with the least have the most. They may feel like they have this but this was a truly human moment that i have rarely seen in this world. I always smile wholeheartedly when i think of this time. This genuine love and support is what life is about. People being happy for people and lifting others up. When you make it. We all make it. Big love Mika! keep your head down and forge forward! The Next generation is in good hands.
