🍛Korean Beef Bowl + Shredded Brussel Sprouts🍛 . I may or may not have an obsession with Cauliflower Rice 😂🤣 I buy it frozen and use it often! The shredded Brussel Sprouts can be found at Trader Joe’s and they are so easy to make. I sauté them with olive oil, some type of garlic seasoning and vegetable broth. I also used coconut aminos instead of soy sauce for the sauce on the beef. This was hubby approved and quick to put together! . Where my teachers at?!? 👩‍🏫 . With the school year starting soon, if it hasn’t already, we find ourselves running very short on time. . We’re so busy working those extra hours setting up our classrooms, buying school supplies for our class, sitting in meetings, and doing anything at all to make sure the school years off to a great start. . So with this limited free time, often the first thing to go is working out. 👎🏻 . At least for me, I need to fit in working out to help alleviate stress. . I’m going to make sure I can still get in those workouts while I set up my classroom. . For any teachers, here’s a great one that you can try out too. 😉 And anyone else who finds themselves short on time at the gym. . It was a 30 minute arm workout that focused on back and biceps. . Through the workout, I made sure I didn’t sit down to take a break. And when I did take a break, it was only for a few seconds. . It was quick and extremely effective! 💪🏻 . When I first started my fitness journey I had no desire to lift weights. I thought they made you look bulky & manly because that’s what society told me. As I’ve grown on this journey I slowly incorporated weight/resistance training and now I’m completely in love with it!! These pics are exactly two months apart. The bottom is today! Obviously my arms don’t look like this unless I’m flexing or holding myself up but I’m so freakin proud of my progress. I’m proud of my muscles! And I’m actually at my goal weight and easily maintaining it for the first time ever. No restrictions. No long 2 hour workouts. Only working out 4 days a week (30-40 mins) with some yoga/jogging/walking if I feel like it on rest days. Currently on week 5 or my 8 week Lift & HIIT journey and I’m feeling so strong. As we get older our muscles and bones break down and become weaker. I am determined to prevent that as much as possible and always focus on staying strong & healthy!! Ladies - weight training will give you strength, accentuate your curves, give you more energy, boost your mood & confidence. Muscles are beautiful ~ every body is beautiful!! If you haven’t picked up a weight I encourage you to give a try! 🏋🏻‍♀️💪🏻✨ . P.S. this proves that taking pics and measurements really help you see your progress! Don’t base your worth or your progress on the number on the scale!!!

Day 72/80: ✔️ .. Total body core AKA 58 minutes of death this morning 💀 I’m starting to feel all sorts of emotions about only having 7 workouts left in this program. I’m excited, nervous, happy, and sad all at the same time 😩 .. The last few days I’ve really started to notice how not drinking enough water affects my body. I try to drink AT LEAST 92oz of water every day, which is how much I need to be drinking to help me lose weight the way I would like to. With the first few days of the school year being so hectic, I’ve been neglecting this incredibly important aspect of my health. My goal for the rest of the week is to drink 100+oz of water each day, which means filling my water bottle up about 4 times each day. Who else doesn’t want summer to end?! 🙋🏼‍♀️ . I’m loving this gorgeous 80 degree sunny weather. . I’m also loving this restaurant week in Bethesda and DC. . I’m planning on taking full advantage of it the rest of the week. And I’m perfectly ok with it. . I know once school starts, I won’t have as much free time to enjoy myself and do whatever I want to do. So I’m gonna take advantage of it now. . Don’t get me wrong, I’m not veering completely away from my goals. I’m just including some additional fun activities along with them. 😉 . It helps getting in a 3 mile run first thing in the morning and then another workout later in the day. . Today’s workout was a leg one. For the DB leg curls, I added how to start the workout. It’s awkward at first but once you do it, it’s not bad at all. . Here’s the full leg workout: 1️⃣ DB hip thrusts 4x12 2️⃣ DB leg curls 4x10 3️⃣ Single leg extensions 4x10 (each leg) 4️⃣ Kettlebell sumo squats 4x12 5️⃣ Cable unilateral deadlifts 4x10 (each leg) 6️⃣ Cable hip abductors 4x10 (each leg) . . #legdayworkout #bootygainz #dontforgetcardio
