Meet my beautiful friend, Tammy. Tammy and I have been friends since first grade (!) After I began coaching she decided to join a challenge group with me ... but time, work and family would always get in the way ... Tammy said, “l tried workout programs and challenge groups in the past ... I would start out pretty good, but “emergencies” with my kids, my job, my family or travel would come up and sooner or later “I” was my last priority ... my fitness and health goals were not the priority. It’s not to say that I didn’t deal with some serious issues in the past year or so, but using them as a reason to not take care of myself was just an excuse and a poor choice, as self care was even more necessary then.
I just completed my first full program ... and I am amazed at the results! The first 2 weeks I started as I did in the past ... doing the workouts, and eating cleaner, but not really using the containers/measuring and not always having my shake. Then something clicked and I decided to go all in!
I was so excited to be a part of a group of women doing the same thing and seeing their results. I went in super positive and I learned that I can be fueled and fine with much less (of the right food) compared to what I was previously eating.
I had immediate physical results, as well as a new mindset. I was focusing on my eating and seriously started to lose pounds each week. More than that, I felt better than I had in a long time ... full of energy, no migraines or cravings in the day, prepared, and slowly ... I felt stronger and stronger.
For me, following the eating plan, the shake every morning, an accountability and support group, and only 30 minute workouts that had variety was key! I am so happy my friend and coach, Kelly, never gave up on me and kept inviting me to join her groups : ) It is not just about getting through a program or challenge group ... but finding a lifestyle that is healthy and maintainable!” Help me show Tammy some LOVE ... so far she’s down 18 pounds & 8” 🎉💪🏼😍 So so proud of you, girlie ❤️
