If I am lucky try to go hiking daily to our local at Runyon canyon with baby lili in a baby bjorn for extra weight . 2️⃣Make healthier/ source quality versions of food I can’t say no to - ever! eg protein pancakes or healthy dessert options (from #4weekbikinibody recipe book) . 3️⃣Preparation is key - A. my ‘gym’ clothes in living room night before so all I need to do is change in morning & do a session before baby lili wakes up. B. freeze my veggies weekly for my non negotiable daily berry + veg smoothie (recipe from #4weekbikinibody) C. #motivationmonday: People always presume working out is something that comes easy to me, something that im addicted or have a knack for. Well let me tell you it wasn't always like that. . You see when you are already uncomfortable in your skin attempting something new, infront of complete strangers is scary. The thought of being judged, of making mistakes, of not fitting in is a huge deal. Often so much so that we would much rather put our goals on the back burner than face our fears. . This morning I reallyyy didn’t want to get out of bed. Like, really did not want to! I’ve felt like this most of the week to be honest. Its been a solid battle to drag my ass to the gym. Even during my session It was a constant struggle! But I pushed through. I got it done. And that’s what separates people who succeed from the rest. The effort you put in even during the times you lack the drive. The truth is, motivation won’t always be there. You need to make it habit. You need to change your mindset. Feeling uncomfortable for 1-2 hours of your day to work towards your goals is much more bearable then beating yourself up all day for not getting it done! This is the triumphantly sweaty face of someone who just completed their first workout since having their baby just over 9 weeks ago 💪🏼 . I was cleared to exercise at my 6 week check up with my GP and I’m easing myself back in by doing tailored sessions with a pre/post natal PT at @crossfitstalbans. I’ll also be doing the CrossFit Fundamentals course next week so I can get stuck in to classes as I get stronger . The biggest thing to get my head round is that my body feels totally different. I’m aware of new weaknesses and things shifting about but I’m determined to get strong again in this new body and to embrace the journey. My rule that I will try to stick to is not to compare my post-baby body and fitness to my pre-baby body and fitness . On the plus side, all those pelvic floor exercises are paying off and I didn’t pee myself doing star jumps 👌🏼 Also the noise of the assault bike is like white noise to a baby, Raf fell asleep as soon as I hopped on 😂

Only 2 weeks left of training before we have a Christmas break. How did that happen?? . We’ve had and amazing year with some amazing results and I couldn’t be prouder of all of the Mums who have joined my program and continue to live a healthy lifestyle. I love what I do and more so, I love working with such inspirational women who make me want to be better every single day. . Thank you to you all and let’s smash the next two weeks before we get to spend some much needed quality time with family and Friends. . We will be closed from 22nd Dec to 9th of Jan. Casual sessions will run from the 9th-23rd of Jan so be sure to keep an eye out for the sessions and come down if you’re around and not on holidays. .
