Escape Member of Month
Sunny Staples became an Escapee earlier this year. When Sunny joined us, she was already a fit person, but after an initial assessment, the Athletic Republic Escape coaches noticed some muscle imbalances from a previous ankle injury. Overcompensating has to lead to Sunny having a hard time to activate her glutes.
Immediately, we began to address some of the issues that Sunny had when she started training with us. After lots of intentional training, Sunny is on the right track to further her progress.
Not only has she gotten leaner in the last few months, but she also has progressed in her fitness levels as well. Sunny is mastering pull-ups and is now up to ten pull-ups and progressing to weighted pull-ups.
She also is training with some of the advanced variations of exercises in our Athletic Republic Escape Progression Band System. Working on Stage four and five movements such as Archer push-ups, Pistol squats, and other impressive movements.
Her hard work effort and personality makes Sunny fun to train and a great partner in small group training. She is funny, intelligent person that our other members enjoy being around.
It is motivating and impressive to see how far she has come so quickly. Keep up the excellent work Sunny; you inspire us all!
