This has been such an amazing lesson to learn and I recommend everyone experience this in some form or another. Yes, I love the support and accountability I get from my team BUT they are not going to push for me. They are not going to prep my meals for me. They are not going to push play for me. They are not going to stop me from getting the treats I want. They are not going to DO the work for me. Although we are on this journey together, we all have our own path to navigate. I love having a team by my side, but I have become so much more by giving myself my own kick in the ass. And you can choose to do it too, I promise ❤️

FRUSTRATED BC I CANT LOSE WEIGHT!!!! - 📝✅HOW TO MELT BODY FAT✅ - OK LESSS BE REAL when it comes to losing weight, yeah it can be difficult AF but in reality it is not. 💁🏽‍♀️ - So the first part is the most important part to get you going in the right direction! - Many people start with restricting all the foods they love and force themselves to eat boring bland “diet” food from a short lil list. Then they do hours of cardio, and even buy a bunch of supplements to help them lose this weight. - I suggest you stop that and focus on a few things. - 📌FIRST. You should have a way of tracking your food intake. The only way to lose body fat is to be in a caloric deficit (burning more calories than you have eaten). - YOU NEED SOME WAY to quantify how much you are eating--whether that's using particular portion sizes or tracking your calories in a food diary (MyFitnessPal is the best) - 📌NEXT. Have a target protein intake. Around 1 gram per pound of bodyweight is what i use and suggest. - 📌THEN. Start with 2-3 days of strength training and limit your cardio to 1-2 days. AND I SAY START OFF this way because if you start off doing TOO MUCH TOO EARLY… Then you will plateu suppppper quickly, get frustrated and fall off...again. - So you will want to SLIGHTLY not a ton, but slightly lower your calorie intake and INCREASE your activity. - Focus on this and getting in a ton of WHOLE FOODS as much as you can this will help keep you full/satisfied and actually FEEL GOOD. You are what you eat….Fuel yourself consistently with fast food and processed junk, then expect to feel like that. It’s not a competition, it’s a journey! This popped into my head as I was doing so well today with total body cardio! I remembered how I had such a hard time the first time I did that workout... just less than 2 weeks ago! I went from frequent breaks and modifications to almost no breaks at all and no modifications! Everybody starts somewhere, and everybody is different! Just remember to encourage each other whether they are just beginning, at your level, or way far ahead of you! It’s a gradual process, and getting it started really is hard! When beginning a new fitness life change, it’s easy to feel intimidated and maybe even get scared away. Just because someone isn’t quite at your level yet, doesn’t mean they aren’t putting in the same or more effort as you! Wherever you are in your fitness journey, you are doing so great!!!

Usually when a song gets stuck in my head, ,I’ve noticed that it’s a message i either can relate to, need to hear, or can identify with . The past few days I’ve listened to “the hills and valleys “ and something has rang so true. In my lowest of lows , in my darkest places , I’ve remembered to love on God . Sometimes that was saying nothing but just being in silence with him. Sometimes I’ve even gotten fired up and let him know about it. I don’t hide the way i feel or what I’m dealing with from God I’m real with him . Not because it’s what’s “right” but because he is truly my best friend... the rock on which I stand... the one thing that never ever changes and loves me more than I could ever understand. In the highest points of my life, when things have been better than ever, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and feel his love and presence so strong. Keeping him first means feeling love for him. Actually FEEL it. Not just doing daily rituals , but taking time to say hey You big man, thanks for waking me up, thanks for loving me. Just spend time with him the same way you would a friend. Don’t look at God like he’s something so much greater than you that you’re too small to matter to him . He created you. He loves you. He gave you free will because what good is love or a relationship if you don’t get to decide or have say in it ? He could’ve created us to merely love him and not have our own thoughts, but he wanted us to have a choice.
