Repost from @gmo_gus using @RepostRegramApp - Wanted to share some of my personal favorite NATURAL remedies for cold/flu symptoms: _ ✔🌿Oil of oregano: Great for giving your immune system a boost as it has antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal and anti-inflammatory properties. I take 2-3 drops under my tongue twice a day when I'm starting to catch a cold. It has a strong kick to it so you can use a carrier oil like coconut oil. A little goes a long way. I will also add 5-10 drops to a glass of water and gargle for at least a min every hour when I’m feeling symptoms of strep. Can also be used in your diffuser to help with upper respiratory/sinus issues. _ ✔🍇Elderberry: My favorite tasting remedy. Elderbery is effective at inactivating viruses. According to studies, this powerful antioxidant stimulates the immune system by increasing production of disease-fighting lymphocytes. I prefer to use @gaiaherbs Elderberry syrup since it's organic and tastes amazing. _ ✔🔨Collidal Silver: I use this stuff all the time. Great for cold and flu season as it has antibacterial and antiviral properties. A dropperfull under the tongue is all you need. Also can be mixed with water and used to gargle for sore/strep throat. This is also the only thing I will ever use for pink eye/styes. Anytime I see/feel symptoms of pink eye, I put 2-3 drops in my eyes 2-3 times a day and it clears up in almost a day. _ ✔🍋Vitimin C (High Dose): It has long been understood that vitamin C benefits your immune system and plays a large role in your body’s ability to fight off colds and viruses. You can take 1000 mg of Vitamin C to fight off an oncoming cold and 4000 mg per day to get rid of a cold already in your system. Research high dose vitamin C therapy and #LinusPauling. At the first sign of a cold I will sometimes take anywhere from 2-8 grams (2000mg-8000-mg) every 30 min for about 3 hours. This seems like a lot but it has totally helped me.
