I’ve been doing some of my own discovery about carbs. Seems like many of the people I talk to about nutrition think that cutting carbs back to almost none is the way to go. .
From what I read, There are benefits to limiting carbs for people with certain health issues. Diabetes being one of them. And it also seems that it is meant to kick start a healthy way to eat for some. .
Drastically limiting carbs for extended periods creates a few problems. One being maintaining a very low carb lifestyle. (There are some health issues that go along with that.). The other one I see from friends and observations of people who are limiting carbs to extreme low amounts is foods that are being increased.
More protein often comes in the form of more bacon, cheese, high fat meats. The stuff this food is injected with and treated with is BAD! .
Do people need to watch carbs? YES. The BAD ones. When we limit carbs so drastically so many other things beside weight are affected. .
