Slow-twitch muscle fibers (also known as “Type I”) generate less power and strength than fast-twitch fibers, but they have can sustain activity for longer. ✖️EZ BAR SKULL CRUSHERS - I see way to many people get this wrong in the gym. - ✅ How to perform ez bar skull crushers: - 1️⃣ Using a close grip, lift the EZ bar and hold it with your elbows in as you lie on the bench. 2️⃣ Your arms should be perpendicular to the floor. This will be your starting position. 3️⃣ Keeping the upper arms stationary, lower the bar by allowing the elbows to flex. Inhale as you perform this portion of the movement. 4️⃣ Pause once the bar is directly above the forehead. - HOT TIP TUESDAY - I realised what I’m about to tell you after a client of ours was really excited about her new ‘fitbit’ when they first came out. She is a Lawyer aka office job like many. As you know the goal is 10,000 steps per day. She care into our session one night and was absolutely blown away that she had not even done 2000 steps for the day (our session was 6.30pm) and she had done a massive day at work. She pointed out how tired she was and how she had a big day (so she thought) but actually hadn’t even reached 10,000 not even a quarter of that! It got me thinking how easy it is for us to come home from work to what we think (maybe mentally was a huge day) but definitely not physically and we plonk ourselves on the couch for the rest of the night to relax. It got me thinking, a typical (not everyone!) person would wake (say 5-8hrs of sleeping), sit and eat breakfast and drink coffee, either drive or sit on public transport to work, sit at work, sometimes even sit at your desk and eat lunch, sit back in the car or public transport home, then eat dinner and sit on the couch for the rest of the night. My mind was blown when I broke it down like that. I know that not everyone has a day like this, but there are certainly lots of people that do! What’s your day like?

One of the best things I’ve found to switch up a workout is to implement slow negatives🐢(➖) and normal-explosive positives💥(➕). Negatives are basically fighting gravity by lowering/releasing the weight in a timely manner of 3-5 seconds per rep👨🏽‍🚀⏰. Positives are the push, curl, or pull in the exercise🏋🏾‍♂️. You may have to lower the weight quite a bit from your usual routine, but you will definitely feel the burn🔥. La glutamina es un aminoácido que se considera en la nutrición como no esencial ,tiene presencia en el organismo y se involucra en los procesos metabólicos. Es sintetizado por medio del ácido glutámico y amoniaco. Es el principal transportador de nitrógeno en el organismo y es una fuente de energía para las células. ¿Para qué sirve la Glutamina? - Incrementa la masa muscular - Aumenta la energía - Ayuda a enfrentar el estrès - Evita la mala absorción de los nutrientes - Mejora las defensas - Alivia la artritis ¿Cómo tomar la Glutamina? La glutamina se puede tomar con o sin alimento,se debe evitar ,que la mezcla con comidas o bebidas calientes para no producir la posible degradación y anular sus propiedades. Si se considera consumirla con zumos, se aconseja que éstos tengan un bajo grado de acidez (no se aconseja zumo de naranja). ¿Cuánta Glutamina tomar?
