One month of strength training 3x per week and cardio where I can fit it in / feel like doing in. Starting to see a better reduction in the old tree trunks. This amazing man helped me realise that food is not the enemy. Food is what makes the body grow. It’s what makes the body strong. And most importantly it helps you get the results you want! He really is an inspiration and I’m so thankful to him for setting me off on my way as I wouldn’t be where I am now without him! So here is today’s full food diary and another reminder that you can eat lots and lots of delicious healthy food and even have chocolate on ya porridge and still transform your body! #transformationtuesday look at my ARMS in the pic on the left...😳 - This may not be the biggest transformation, but omg... it is SO big for me. - I’ve ALWAYS had a very small upper body, and not only that, I’ve always had a WEAK AF upper body (if you know me you know this very well). Literally opening a freaking water bottle was impossible for me. - Like I said this may not be the biggest transformation ever, but this is sooo motivating to me. Not so long ago I liked my very small arms, but as time went by, all I wanted was to take my training to another level, do cool things, BE STRONGER. Sadly, my small weak arms didn’t help🙃. - Of course I am not the strongest person ever now 😂 I still have a long way to go, but I am enjoying the process, and that’s what matters. I’m enjoying every single moment at the gym, setting goals, and loving my body. Most importantly, I’m not obsessing over my progress/training. - Also noticed some booty gains 🍑😊 those are always welcome😂 I can honestly say hip thrusts have been my savior, and deadlifts... those are my FAVS. I’ll make a post about it soon☺️. - Anyways... never be scared of trying out new things, I used to NEVER train arms because I didn’t want to get too “bulky” LOL. Now I’m trying out fun things at the gym, working towards my first pull up (I’m getting there), etc, etc. Focusing on PERFORMANCE goals, instead of just appearance goals and weight goals. And I encourage you all to find what works for you. I don’t track macros, but it is something I am seriously looking into! I do pay attention to serving sizes and that’s enough for me right now. • • I have included my breakfast, lunch and dinner plus 2 snacks—which is typically how much I eat. Sometimes I eat something after my dinner but that’s usually if I workout at night because I get more hungry. I’m in need of some new recipes for lunch/dinner! You can’t take shortcuts. You get in what you put out and when you don’t give it your all, you’ll fail. There will be days when it’s tough and you’d rather do anything in the world other than eat egg white and turkey sausage for breakfast for the 3rd time (or maybe that’s just me 😅), but you have to push through. There will be days when you don’t want to lift and you just have to drag your ass to the gym and do it.
