It’s normal to find ourselves thinking about the past.
Of course we could have been better, done better.
However, the only reason we think that is because we have learned a LESSON.
Hindsight is always 20/20.
What you can do with that information is apply the teachings of each LESSON in order to craft an ideal reality.
We can replay and ruminate over things in the past, but as much as we try...we can’t change what has happened.
What we can change is now. The present.
It was sheer learning and fun experience when I attended the event organised by the MALAYSIAN PALM OIL COUNCIL at @ardor2.1. .
Never knew that PALM OIL is a gold in itself and has lots of benefits to offer for us.
The event speaker Dr. Bhavna Shah(MPOC Regional head for Indian and Sri Lanka) who beautifully presented a presentation showing various unknown beneficial facts about Palm oil and how it’s present almost every product and industry in one way or other. Some of these facts are:
1. Palm is the most consumed vegetable oil worldwide.
2. It doesn’t have any odour or flavour of its own. Hence, it’s totally easy to use it without any hampering the taste and quality of food.
3. Palm oil is used in almost 50% of packed foods and many other products such as lipsticks, soaps and various industrial products so far.
4. Palm oil is the most common cooking oil used throughout Asia and more than 300 scientific publications on palm oil in animals and human dietary intervention studies are available. In several human studies conducted by reputable research laboratories around the globe, scientists have found that palm oil consumption has a relatively neutral effect on blood cholesterol and shown to increase the “good” HDL-cholesterol.
The event was still not over. We then participated in a food hunt competition and there were fun tasks as there were rounds finding venues like @mybarheadquarters , @pandeypaan and @punjabibynature2.0 after decoding few riddles and activities like blind food tasting where we were made to taste the ingredients of dish made in Palm oil only, also Paan eating contest where ingredients like cashew were fried and tossed in palm oil and finally the salad making where we ourselves used palm oil and made it taste by the chef and Mrs.Bhavna.
Definitely looking forward to be more interesting events like this and to use Palm oil for a healthy future ahead ♥️
