Everyday I read articles and books about how to live the healthiest life.
But, I find myself constantly frustrated with most of what I read. Many studies, health plans, articles, meal plans, diets etc are geared to one type of person. The 9-5.
Go to sleep at the same time every night.
Make sure you get eight hours of sleep a night.
Don’t eat dairy. Don’t eat carbs.
Eat small meals every hour. Eat meals at the same time every day.
How can a person who works shift work, especially airline crew, possibly live a healthy life?
Today I’m working from 9-8pm. Then halfway through today, my day tomorrow was changed from a 530pm start to a 530am start. My layovers have all changed, along with my hopes to get a workout in over the next 2 days. This is normal occurrence for a flight attendant.
I’m not complaining about my job, I signed up for this.
What I am upset about is that there is no information out there for people who work unusual jobs to live a healthier life.
My goal with my blogging, research and lifestyle plan’s is to provide the info and help everyone to kickass and feel better & enjoy a healthy lifestyle!
