So, there's this new ramen joint in @ that just opened. Well, soft opening. It's called @ and it's next to Wah Lun near Willingdon. It took over the spot previously occupied by a pizza joint.
I'd say pretty good. Generous portions, great chew to the noodles, but you only get one slice of pork. This is the shiro miso (white miso), which is a little lighter in flavor, sweeter, and a bit thicker in consistency. There's also the aka miso (red miso), which is saltier, more umami, and a bit thinner in consistency. I prefer the shiro. They've also got a spicy scorpion miso, which you can get in three degrees of spiciness and three degrees of numbing.
If you check my IG stories (archived in the highlights), I've got a pic of the chicken karaage and I'll post the menu too. During the soft opening, it was $6 for ramen. Regular price is about $11 or $12 or so.
Another welcome addition to the neighborhood. Even though we've already got two other ramen places (Hakkaku and Kamamarui), they're all a little different from one another. It's a good thing Addie loves noodles.
