I adapt this recipe from A Bite of China show on YouTube at CCTV Channel. Sebenarnya that show banyak beri inspiration to me. How? You tontonlah sendiri then you know what I mean. Fry small cut chicken ribs in little oil until lightly browned. This is not deep fried. Add blend ingredients (red chili padi and garlic cloves), stir until mix with chicken. Add sliced onion, leeks, red chillies and hard tofu. Stir carefully so tofu not break easily. Add seasoning as hoisin sauce, light soy sauce and water. Boil until chicken cooked. Whisk cornflour with little water then poured to chicken mjxture. Healing my body of both Autoimmunities, SIBO, and trying to keep Hyperthyroidism in check, I walk a fine line of balancing an AIP, SCD, Low FODMAP diet right now. Foods that are ok for one cause me to react and foods that are on another cause me to react. So I basically eat what I can that doesn’t leave me with a reaction. I LOVE it when they all marry happily 😍Well, tonight I was happy! It was an hour before dinner time and I hadn’t even thought about what I was gonna make. (Sick kiddo has kept us in doors and away from grocery stores, so supplies were also limited.) Tonight, I was able to throw together this AIP/FODMAP Friendly Shepherd’s Pie of sorts and it won big time with even the pickiest eater of the household. —————————————. • 1 Butternut Squash- halved & cleaned • 1 pkg ground Turkey • 1 cup chopped green beans (I used frozen) • salt • Turmeric • pepper (if you can handle) • parsley • any other spices you like that you can have (onion/garlic would be delish!) . Directions: - put the squash in the instant pot and set on manual for 12 minutes. When done, release the pressure and scoop flesh into a bowl. - mash the flesh and add salt & parsley (also onion & garlic powders if you can have) - while squash is cooking, brown the ground turkey with choice spices (I used Turmeric & salt) - in an 8x8 casserole dish, layer with ground turkey, 1 cup green beans, and spread mashed squash on top. - bake in 375*F oven for 20 minutes (the top will sort of brown and the beans will now be hot also). . . So easy. so good. so few ingredients. This was me my entire life until my early 30s when I started on a healing path through nutrition. I had no idea how much what I was eating and not eating, taking and not taking, applying to my skin and not applying to my skin was effecting my quality of life. I knew I was miserable and in pain, but felt helpless and hopeless to ever see a change. I had no concept of knowing about all of the life I was missing! Now that I do, when I am under the weather, I cannot wait to feel well and free again! I imagine running up the stairs like Rocky as soon as I recover, and the awesome thing is, I can if I want to. It sounds too simple to be true, but legit nutrition gave me my life back and now that I know how good my body was designed to feel, I will never stop sharing that hope with others!

Tonight’s Dinner: Turkey 🦃 With Baked Veggies How to: Oven @ 450•F Potatoes, Turnip, yellow onions, turkey breast (bone in) & rosemary. Cut onions, turnip and potatoes in large chunks add to bowl and set aside. Add olive oil, sage and S&P to taste - stir to coat evenly. Add potatoes & turnip to bottom of baker. Add turkey breast (lightly salt) - then add onions on top and sides. Finish with fresh rosemary sprig for taste. Cover and cook for 60-75 minutes or until meat temp is 165•F. Let cool 😎- then serve! 👉👉👉👉I sautéed some green beans while the turkey cooled. 💃🏻 @kansascitycanningco red wine cranberry sauce was DIVINE! Both my kids are home sick with the flu 😷🤒🤧 So that I stay well, to take care of them, I am taking some extra Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and Zinc as well as washing my hands often, feeding my healthy bacteria with yogurt, and fermented foods, like kimchi, and eating plenty of nutrient-dense foods. I try to manage my stress and get enough sleep, consistently to keep my immune system healthy. To help my kids I am feeding them immune-boosting foods, such as food with garlic in it because it acts as an antibiotic and has been found to lessen the severity of colds. Chicken soup is very popular for a good reason, it provides fluids and electrolytes, it is warm and soothing and may also contain Anti-inflammatory properties that decrease cold symptoms. I make sure they are drinking lots of fluids, water mostly, and that they are getting lots of rest to help them recover. Completely forgot to post dinner because I ate like 2 hours later than I usually do because of the High School meeting. It is super late m, so caption will not be too long. - Dinner😋—> Gołabki- Polish stuffed cabbage roll- Beef & pork, white rice, cabbage, tomato purée, onions, etc., 3 large radishes, homemade chicken noodle soup, and three-cheese Parmesan & garlic breadstick. - Dinner was a huge challenge but a major recovery win! Today's wins....sardine salad for breakfast & nutrient density to cap off the day. I've been starting every day this week with some kind of canned fish salad, and I do think it's helping with inflammation. I made this delicious healthy meal today with a simple recipe from the holistic health and nutrition program I've recently joined called The Healthstyle Emporium. • I love that they're all easy and free of nasty ingredients. Plus this one is vegan! Here is the recipe (serves 2): • Ingredients 2 large ripe bananas, cut into chunks and frozen 2 cups nut milk 1 teaspoon chai spice 1 sachet of our complete vanilla protein 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • Instructions Place all ingredients in a blender. Blend on high speed until smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. "Food is life or food is disease" Our trainer shared a live video in our test group today and these 7 words stuck out to me. As I sit here sorting through this timed nutrition - (planning not only my meal plan but Eddy's too which he is following a different program), I am stoked about pairing foods together based on what effect they will take on my body. So it's not only eating "healthy" or eating "clean", but giving my body the right nutrients for muscle growth, for soreness, and for max energy. In college (even after taking a nutrition course), I thought fat free, lowfat, skim milk was what cut fat and fueled my body properly. Boy have I come a long way from that. But I learned only by doing, trying, failing and succeeding - the whole circle. So people are learning about foods...yes even healthy ones...that are giving them brain fog or nausea by doing this program/meal plan. Then how to substitute with another food. Also learning about the right combination of foods. Most of us eat just to eat. Because it looks or tastes good; because it's there or because we are bored/anxious/depressed. But when you learn what effects food has on you, that is control. That is lifestyle eating and longterm health. THAT is freaking empowering! Get empowered.
