If you don’t know that illusion - swipe 👉🏼 to check it out. You will see a pretty girl or an old witch, and once you see both you won’t unsee them. In life, perspective is everything and I believe we must always be critical of our own perspective and constantly question our own assumptions.
So what’s a farm? From a human perspective, a farm is a place from which we get our food. In fact, legally speaking, animals on a farm are “property”. But what’s a farm from an animal’s perspective? However you twist it, it’s a place where the sole purpose of your life is to serve a human want (not even a need). You live to either get fat, make milk, or make eggs. You’re genetically modified to get fat as fast as possible (did you know chickens reach market weight at 42 days years old?), produce way more milk and pump our way more eggs than you would naturally. At the point of diminishing returns, you’re sent to the slaughterhouse. After all, business is business. Imagine that was you - how would you feel?
Farms kill more innocent animals than any other industry - animals that if we met in real life, most of us would be quick to play & cuddle with. For what, so we can enjoy a quick meal?
