Getting in litres of water a day can be exhausting and sometimes painful if we're being honest.
While there are different opinions on how much water we should be drinking everyday, it is often recommended that the average adult drink atleast 1.6 to 2 litres of water a day to keep hydrated, and possibly more during hot seasons or when exercising.
One way I've made drinking water more pleasant for myself is by infusing fruit and herbs into the water, which also give my body the added nutritional value.
Besides promoting clear skin (hello!?) Fruit infused water can also detox the body, boost your metabolism, increase energy, improve digestion, help in regulating body weight and boost brain power.
Some great fruit and herbs to add to your water are cucumbers, citrus fruit, berries, kiwi, mint, green tea, ginger, thyme, rosemary and basil.
Just add two or three of each and some chia seeds, cinnamon or a bit of raw honey if you like and drink away!
So, instead of starting your day with a cup of coffee this week, try swap it for a cup of warm water with lemon (add ACV if you're trying to shed off the weight) 15min before you have breakfast. Then get in the rest of the litres throughout the remainder of the day.
This will instantly (well almost) increase your energy levels, nevermind all the other good stuff its doing on the inside.
