EXERCISE: underhand barbell row TARGET MUSCLE: Back ______ EXPLANATION: This is my fav exercise for overall back development because It engages the lats as well as the center of your back/lower back. It's the secret to the "christmas tree" muscle you often see right in the center of someones back lol. Dont know what the Christmas tree muscle is? Google "Christmas tree back muscle". 😂 Also this is a dropset! My Fav! _____ TIPS: 🎄keep your back flat and core tight. 🎄be at a slight incline. 🎄pull with your elbows not your hands or wrists. 🎄think about making a right angle with your elbow/arm when pulling back. 🎄pull the bar to your stomach/lower ribs area, and like actually TO your stomach/lower ribs. No half reps lol. 🎄think about pulling your elbows past your ribs to help get the bar to your stomach (but dont be bashing yourself with the bar or anything lol). 🎄make really hideous faces, it helps with range of motion and possibility of landing a boyfriend. 🎄do weird head things to ensure max gains, which also helps you look extra attractive when executing the exercise. 😂

Expanding on last nights post, now what if what you want IS being offered? _______ We often dont ask for things unless they have been offered to us because in most cases the offer in necessary. But even when offered and asked what we want in the offer we ask for something far less than what we think we deserve in hopes of sounding "the least greedy" possible. Guess what, this backfires 99% of the time because we end up getting way less than we truly deserve and the person making the offer was probably hoping you'd undercut the offer they had in mind (on their selfish behalf). Aka they know your worth, you know your worth, SO ASK FOR YOUR WORTH. Selfish? Nope. Getting what you deserve? Yup! It all comes down to confidence in KNOWING WHAT YOU DESERVE. _____ Like the end to my last post, always remember? stay humble, stay modest, stay polite, and don't stop trying until you get what you want. You were born for success. Xo

How did I get a job that didnt exist? The answer: "You dont get what you dont ask for". Sounds like a rather selfish or greedy statement right? And can be if used with the wrong mindset. But when used with the correct mindset it can be a crucial power and component to success. ______ What if theres something you want that isnt being offered? Well that's how a felt about a job that I wanted but didnt exist. There was no offer. There was no position. But I wanted it. So what did I do? I walked in and asked for it. Resume in hand, I acknowledged the fact that the position did not exist, and I requested to make it a position and fill its shoes. Guess what? Position made, position filled by me, and hired on the spot. Brought in the next day for training and boom. Done. Lol Now I'm not saying this works in all cases, some opportunities require an offer, and you arent always guaranteed to have success with all tries. I've done this before and not been successful. In fact I would give it like a 1 in 4 success rate lol. So what do I do? Never stop trying. Because if I had stopped after that first failure, I wouldn't have made it to this success. And guess what, it made this success all that much more satisfying. ______ So get out there, and make what you want a reality!!! And always remember, stay humble, stay modest, stay polite, and don't stop trying until you get what you want. You were born for success. Xo

There is a few factors that are involved with FAT-LOSS. You must be in a caloric deficit, you require weight training or body weight exercise (to maximize muscle mass) to increase metabolism, and do interval training whether it’s cardio or done through complex weight training ( non-stop exercise ) and of course consistency to eating clean non processed foods 😀Fat loss is complex although people are very obsessed with the scale don’t be We on a mission to loose body weight it gets mistaken for body fat . When we are trying to loose body fat we cut back on the NON Essential nutrient which is CARBS 🙌 CARBS are converted to glucose (sugar) in the liver and muscles and stored as energy. For every gram of carb we ingest we hold 2.7 grams of water. The water retention occurs between your kidneys and holds on to sodium in response to car consumption. First day back training after my rest and recovery week between programs and man do I feel good. Took @fusionmuscle purple k reps, trained legs, and of course made it a food freedom day to kick start the new program with CARBS LOL. _____ Todays menu: 💪oatmeal + egg whites and grapefruit. ___ 💪teriyaki rice bowl from @stateandmain ___ 💪caramel chocolate chip rice cakes with banana ___ 💪a salmon burger and shrimp burger topped with avocado and nori sheets (seaweed from sushi). Also a giant salad with avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, a bag of iceberg lettuce mix, and zesty Italian dressing! ___ 💪 pint of strawberries with vanilla yogurt and a birthday cake @questnutrition bar! ___ Approx 3100cal and macros are ~400g carbs, 90g fat, and 170g protein. Similar to last weeks menu because I loved it and I also FELT amazing. Sometimes your body doesnt react well to new foods so when you find foods that you love and make you feel good, never feel bad for sticking to them (in moderation of course lol). Sooooooo the answer to the question in my last post, how am I going to create a program that will help me achieve all my goals? ______ Goal number 1: CALVE STRENTH. Calve training every other day, with 3 different stances (parallel, inward, outward) and hitting them at 2 different angles (vertical, horizontal using standing machines, sitting machines). TIP: superset calves with the muscle you are training that day! ______ Goal number 2: CORE Incorporating 1 or 2 core exercises at the end of every workout that target a DIFFERENT AREA. So one day would be lower core, next day upper, and then the next obliques, then rest day (no core) and then start again. So 6 days/ week core training. TIP: core needs rest too so if you train just lower or upper or obliques every day they will get exhausted and you will plateau in strength. _______ Goal number 3: LEG STRENGTH AND ENDURANCE. I want to gain strength but I find when I lift heavy my reps are super slow lol. So keep leg endurance (fast rep pace) is hard, especially with lanky long ass legs lol. Supersets and dropsets are my fav 2 types of sets to achieve both these goals simultaneously. Superset between a heavy compound movement (squat, 3-5 reps for strength) and then an isolation exercise (straight leg deadlifts, 10-15 reps for endurance). Dropsets are same concept but without changing the exercise. A heavy compound movement (squat, 3-5 reps for strength) and drop the weight (squats, 10-15 reps for endurance). _______ My new program starts tomorrow!!! Cant wait to get back to lifting and cant wait to crush some new goals!

Official full first week of 4th year university COMPLETE and feeling good. I also strategically planned it to be my "rest and recovery" week. ______ Every 4-5 weeks i change my training program, so instead of just jumping from one program to the next I take about a week off training and just do cardio to let my reset and recover. Yes REST IS IMPORTANT AND THATS WHEN ALL THE GROWTH OCCURS. _______ Not only is it important to give your muscles a physical break, but also your mind!! I find that every 4-5 weeks I get bored with my training program, I usually reach a plateau because my body is exhausted, and motivation goes down. Sooooo rest time! One week. No pre workout. No training. (Maybe some core work if I feel like it). Light cardio. ________ What do I do during cardio for this week? CREATE MY NEW TRAINING PROGRAM! On my phone I first make a list of all the goals I have for the next 4-5 weeks of training, and then make a program based on those! So what are my next goals? Working on my calves (which I've neglected lol). Actually including core exercises in the program to improve strength (rather than just doing whatever whenever lol). Work on gaining strength in my legs as well as endurance in leg exercises when doing lighter weight higher reps. And of course gaining mass overall! _______ So how am I going to create a program that will help me achieve all of these? Find out in my next post!

Just over here in my new @gunsnposesapparel ready to conjure the new week! _____ Motivation Monday inspiration: "It ain't over until it's over" _____ Just remember that next time your training, or really next time your doing anything in life. It's not over until it's truly over, and you have the ability to decide whether your going to end story or give up. Ya sometimes our workouts start out crappy or our day starts out crappy, but until you are walking out of the gym or closing your eyes to go to bed, you have the ability to change it. You can decide midway that its crappy and let that determine your entire day/workout, or you can take a moment and ask yourself, "what can I do to make this great? What's ONE THING I can do to end off on a positive note?". Hit a new rep PR in just one exercise? Accomplish one important chore? Take a moment to do something you love? Because as far as I'm concerned, it's only a bad workout or a bad day if you let it become one. Ya s*** happens. But your stronger, and God is testing you. You have so much to he thankful for and are such an amazing person, he cant let your ego get too big 😉. So show this world just how unstoppable you truly are. A MUST READ 😀 Where does the BODY FAT go when we loose it 🤔. You will be surprised it’s not what you think 🤔. We literally breathe most of it out through our lungs. The rest via urine, sweat, and any and all other liquid bodily secretions 😮 THIS IS HOW IT HAPPENS; 1) All fats in the body exist as triglycerides, many of are stored as droplets of oil in the fats cells that exist throughout the body. They exist as a fuel supply . 2) When you cut cals or exercise, an enzyme called “hormone sensitive lipase” is turned on by hormonal messengers & breaks down triglycerides into glycerol and fatty acids. 3)These are brokedown components are then released into the bloodstream where they are used first and foremost by the liver , followed by the muscles 💪 5) The acetyl-Coa combines with oxaloacetate within the cells to form citric acid 6)This starts the cycle of carbon dioxide, water , heat and ATP 7) The carbon dioxide then leaves the body through the lungs as you exhale , while the water exits through sweat and urine. The heat released through the citric acid maintains your body temperature and ATP generates all movements inside and outside your body . Since 2005 nursing was all I lived for. The OR was my passion and love and still is. Being part of a team that helps another life right next to the surgeons involved in all surgeries was amazing. And is amazing. Long days and nights were tough but I’ve had the opportunity to see so much and be part of helping someone beat a disease or help prolong their life and sometimes save lives. I feel honoured to have been part of so many peoples lives who never even knew I was there behind their sleep. Find a passion and go and reach for it bc it’ll be worth it in the end. The BACK is a large complex muscle group . It can be broken down into 3 main components upper , mid and lower . It’s necessary to work it from all angles and I prefer to train it 2 x a week . To TARGET 🎯 the MIDDLE back the BEST exercises to do are ROWING movements especially WIDE grip bent over rows for thickness and density. It’s time to say goodbye to my long time hair colour friend. You’ve been good to me but you’re a lot of maintenance and it’s not you, it’s all me. Friday night feels.....this resembles the nerd I actually am. FUN FACTS FRIDAY: 1- I hate change! I get super stressed out and anxious horribly! Hate it. And this is any big change. 2- I’ve been a gym fitness lover...obsessed more like until 2/3 years ago when I injured my neck really bad and was basically bed ridden. And because of that I’ve gained 20-25lbs!!!! Never ever have I been this heavy and curvaceous (more like rolly polly!!!!) Lol in my life so I do feel super insecure. 3- I only can wear two different parfuums bc I’m super sensitive to smells. 4- I love flowers but not the type to care to be given them. Just think it’s a waste bc they die so fast. I prefer something I can wear or use even if cheap. 5- I was born in Romania 🇷🇴 Nothing exciting but now u know lol. Hope everyone has a great long weekend....last long weekend of the summer! 😝🤬 Lol. I love summer when I’m fit lol. Winter is good for a month. Spring not necessary and fall for one month as well btw hahaha.
