🎶Oh every morning! I rise I smile at the sun!!! I KNOW IT IS A BLESSING’🎶
Ya’ll know by now on Sundays I spend time in deep reflection.
Yes, I do it EVERY Sunday if even for only an hour. 🙂
I take the time to list out;
1. Things( people, thoughts, feelings, situations) from last week I need to discard (mental & emotional dumping).
2. That which I need to multiply and work on being better at.
3. I write down at least three areas of emotional and mental growth I achieved. E.g. last week I was able to detach myself emotionally and somewhat mentally from my fear of judgement by sharing a piece of my story. (Link in bio for full blog post on this, 🙂).
4. And fourthly, I revisit at least one negative/ hard memory from my past and search for a positive from it. This is very hard, but it is part of my healing and #selfdiscoveryjourney It is also the method by which one can re-recreate a memory in a positive light thereby no longer carrying around the emotional baggage of same. ———————
What do you do for yourself mental health and self -development on Sundays?
PS - we cannot expect to become better people without reflection and conscious effort. Change does not come about through wishful thinking. 🤗💕
