It’s a rare thing finding two yoga practitioners with a passion for lifting heavy. I came back to Bohol weighing only 38kg and I committed to training to gain a bit of weight and to get my bum back.🍑 Joannie, on the other hand, committed to training to lose weight and achieve a bikini body figure, from FAT to FIT. We met before our trainer introduced us to each other as we found each other on Instagram. Both on a different journey but with the same passion and commitment bordering on obsession.😂 Both of us have growing instagram accounts and unknowingly solicited requests for nude photos as well as porn😂 Now, we still are on a different journey: Joannie on her strength building program (being the Strongest Woman in the Visayas region!!!) and I on my abnormally scheduled days of teaching yoga, both private and open classes. We have agreed to offer the knowledge we have gained both in yoga and fitness. Two different perspectives from two different girls who are the same. Haha. I am also well aware of her dream to be a yoga teacher. Thank you for reading all the way here. 😂We have decided to work together to create something exciting and helpful to everyone on a fitness journey. And we will start with offering FREE yoga classes where Joannie will teach as well, and I will guide her through the process. 👋🏾 #thursdaytraining After a week, I returned to my gym for a weightlifting workout 🏋️‍♂️. After working out 6x a week for the last few weeks, I decided that taking a small break would be good. . My Squat form is definitely getting better, but my left knee starts hurting during my worksets. I'm not sure why. So sometimes I had to cut short a set, rest my knees a little and do some mobility work to lubricate the knee joints, then get back at it again. Maybe I need to wide my stance and angle my feet outward a bit more? Idk 🤷🏾‍♂️ . I did a lot of research on the right deadlift form, and I feel I started to get the hang of it near the end of workout (shown here). As you may see, I'm also not wearing gloves! Dave, a powerlifter at my gym, was generous enough to not only help me with my form but also offer liquid chalk for my hands. I think I'll start using them too! . In addition to the exercises in this video, I also added some kettlebell rows and cable tricep extensions along with a minute plank, and finished off the workout with 3 minutes on a spin bike (harder than it looks!) 😩💦 _______________________________________________________ ... 👉🏾Follow @thefitmuslim for daily fitness motivation! .
