On my last precious drops of my top favorite oil, Idaho Blue Spruce (currently out of stock). Did you know Idaho Blue Spruce has a high frequency at 428 mHz. It has remarkably high percentages of alpha-pinene and limonene. It also stimulates the pineal gland. This is an exclusive oil that’s distilled at Young Living’s Highland Flats Tree Farm.
Interesting fact: Northwestern Native Americans considered the Idaho Blue Spruce to be a sacred tree 🌲 and used it for smudging/purification rites. Spruce leaves, inner bark, twigs and gum have been historically used by Native Americans for a variety of things. Leaves were used as inhalants, fumigators, & revivers. The inner bark was used for lung & throat troubles, inward troubles, in a poultice for cuts & swelling, as a medical salt, applied to areas of inflammation, and in an antiscorbutic drink for scurvy & colds. Spruce gum was used for caulking canoes. 🛶 Various tree parts were combined and used for stomach troubles, sores, as a salve and a tea.
Diffuse for a relaxing evergreen aroma. Diffusing can also help with releasing emotional blocks, bringing about feelings of balance & grounding.
Add a few drops to your shower gel, especially if you live in a dry area. Or, add to your moisturizer to maintain the appearance of healthy skin.
Massage oil with Idaho Blue Spruce added makes for a wonderful massage after a stressful day.
