"It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone". - Marianne Williamson's Our Greatest Fear: That is my #mission in life. To facilitate that every individual sees their greatness even if #media and #awards don't.
17 July was an overflowing day. Dropped car for service. Then off to #GIBS to present on the Standard Bank Women as #Leaders programme on the topic: Her Story under the theme 'The #Disruptor'. Not always easy when you are the subject of the presentation. The focus is less about chest beating, but to offer inspiration and encourage the delegates to understand who they are and to write their own scripts. The feedback was positive. But the real value is in how my sharing sparks their ideas.
Then a #leadership #coaching session. To get feedback that you are helping them see themselves, possibilities for their future and tackling work and their home life more consciously and with positive results. That is the journey.
Off to collect the #car. Then the screen to catch #Obama's16th Nelson #Mandela's Annual Lecture. I just couldn't do crowds today. No #FOMO at all.
Just as I winding down and catching my breathe. Reflecting on the day and completing my to-do list, I get a request from #SAFM to connect with Naye Lupondwana at 23:00 which ends up being 23:30 - 00:00 to discuss the Human Rights Commission's Equality Report on the fact that #BBBEE has not been successfully implemented especially in the private sector. That is an issue that needs less talk and more Constitutional rights and respect for rule of # law wisdom and implementation.
Yep. I am bushed💃🤗😰
