Actually, my love for doing paintings of women and for Body painting on women, I give the credit only to one man for giving me the inspiration.....Hugh Hefner of Playboy. I would get the Playboy magazines and do sketches and paintings of the girls in the magazine. It made me a better artist. I learned to appreciate the female form and also realize how difficult it is to sit and do paintings of women. And then one day while in Los Angeles, I was watching a TV episode about to Hefner and the playboy enterprises and his infamous, notorious and mega fabulous play boy mansion parties. There was one episode —-in particular they talked about body painting. I’ve never body painted anyone at that time. So I decided to go on craigslist to find girls to come over to my place and we would body paint. They loved it. I decided to advertise on the Internet as a body paint artist and then my career started. However, a few years ago, I got a call from the Playboy mansion to come and body paint. It was literally a dream come true. To go to the Playboy mansion is one thing. To go to the Playboy mansion and get paid ——on two different occasions to body paint girls, it’s something I will never forget and I will always be honored.
