Week 7! . I can't believe I'm on my penultimate week of training with @nat_tilly already 😦 . Well I know I already posted about this move like a month ago or so, but this is what I was doing when the gym was empty enough to record so oh well 💁🏽‍♀️ besides, these kneeling squats with the band are such a glute staple for me. I like to superset weighted moves with non-weighted moves, so once I hook the Smith machine back in place for the set, I keep going with just the band. Squeeze and hold at the top for an amazing glute isolation, right up there with hip thrusts

Day 8/80, the changes in my strength this week have been absolutely incredible. A few moves i had to totally modify last week but this week i managed to keep up with the cast! For me this is HUGE! 👏👏👏 . . These are two of my favourite moves from today, in the squat twist you can totally feel your sides working! Plaats de resistance band over de heupen. Leg een barbel op je heupen en gebruik gestrekte armen om de barbel op zijn plaats te houden. Begin met je billen laag bij de grond, druk je hakken in de grond en breng je heupen omhoog. Op het toppunt van de beweging zijn je onderbenen verticaal, je heupen gestrekt en je billen hard aangespannen. Hahahaha the right photo really makes me laugh. That photoshop is awful but hey I tried. I would be surprised if uploaded this just alone and someone actually believed that, that was me - no photoshop done. Sometimes it’s a bit ridiculous what people do believe but really it’s not their fault. _ Sometimes this industry is very wrong but it can also be amazing! I was terrified of dogs growing up, like I would run and friends would have to lock their dogs away when I can over. Then I met my boyfriend and his dog and I’m love with both of them and now I love dogs 💁🏻 2. I travel a ton for work putting on mortgage events around the country. 3. I am disney world obsessed and heading there in February! 4. I love musicals and really regret not being involved in them in high school or college. 5. When I was in high school I went to concerts almost every weekend and was obsessed with meeting band members and taking pictures with them 🤦🏻‍♀️. #motivationmonday no monday blues today. i’ve had the best weekend and a solid week last week. ready to keep it that way. ___ over the last 6 months my life as been very out of the ordinary for me but i’ve tackled it as best i could. i’ve gain about 2 and a half stone (lol) which most (including myself) would normally freak out about. i’ve made sure that i didn’t bring myself in to strict before allowing everything out my system which now my bulk is nearly up i’m ready to never let anything get to me again. i’m so much stronger mentally and physically and i’m grateful for every moment. february for me is the beginning of fresh starts 🤙🏼 ___

Pic from legday yesterday 😊 Today I was planning on going to the gym, but I felt too tired and sore. Did a little back and bicep workout at work instead! At the moment I am aiming to do 3 days lower body, 3 days upper body - 1 day of those is back, as I do deadlifts etc on my legdays, which means my back kinda gets 2 days anyway. January is one of my least favourite month (weather and darkness ain't my thing 😕) , so motivation has been a little less than usual. Sooooo guys! I hired a coach!!! Im so so so excited to have some actual guidance! Today was my first time ever training at a powerlifting gym. I will be coming here tp die twice a week until my meet day, lol! I have never gone this hard ever so im scared and nervous! Hello #fitfam 💕 - I’ve been doing homework for hours. Now I’m going to rest a lil bit and go to the gym.🙂 - It’s been a crazy day, but when I remember why I’m doing this I know it’s worth it. I’m currently studying in order to be a pt in a future. I know this is what I want. I really enjoy being surrounded by irons. I love the feeling of picking heavy things. That sensation I feel when endorphins invade my body. I love making people feel that way too. I’ve been going to that place for four years, and it has become a safe place for me. A place to reflex, to think, to disconnect. I might sound like a freak, but I actually am (I’m not going to lie to you 😂). But thanks to this, I know what my dream profession is. And I work really hard everyday to achieve that job! (and yup, I know I’m gonna make it 🙃). - What about you? What are you studying? And why are you studying it? 💪🏼

Sometimes it doesn’t go all that well 🤷🏼‍♀️ multiple time zones, 4 different gyms, hours of missed sleep and a bunch of stress = a pretty poor week of training, I still got them done but they felt like 💩 and as a result a little loss of the mojo🤦🏼‍♀️ - - However is it the end of the world and have I thrown the towel in? Nuhhh hu 💁🏼‍♀️ (When I pussied out of squats quite nearly but let’s not talk about that 🙄😒) - Sometimes training won’t go your way, if it doesn’t - assess your circumstances. This could mean looking at your training environment, rest, recovery, stress, calorie intake, motivation levels, energy levels, and the rest... - - But it can also just be a one off, an off session which doesn’t mean your entire training life will go to pot, so before sacking the entire week off have a word with yourself and look at your circumstances, mine were FAR from optimal, however after a rest day, some food and a check in with my coach resulted in a FAB leg session and deadlifts are flying up ⬆️⬆️🏋🏼‍♀️ - Found my mojo and more 🏋🏼‍♀️💪🏻 - Moral of the story don’t give up and sometimes things get in the way it’s called LIFE, do ya best and look at your circumstances can you change something? Can you improve something? If you can do it, if you can’t work around it ☺️ #motivationmonday
