Abu Dhabi is quite the melting pot. A melting of cultures and people and ideas. I feel excited that I get to experience this life. I always wanted to live in a country where English isn't the main language, and here we are (although English is commonly spoken, Arabic is the official language). I am grateful to live as I do, where I do, in this present time, doing the work that I do, meeting the people living and working here and building relationships. ❤️ This is the World Trade Centre residential building, above WTC mall. An impressive skyscraper, with around 90 floors. Glorious views of the Corniche, lulu island and the city. There used to be an old fashioned souk, which they rebuilt to a modern version. Modern mall on one side of the road, modern souk on the other side.
Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to live above a mall in the middle of town. The nearby corniche access is appealing... However, lower floors in any city building will be noisy. I like the peace and quiet of the more suburban areas of Abu Dhabi. 😉
