Watched the weather reports all week with hope & excitement. Monday’s forecast called for 8-12 inches of snow (or more) for today. By Wednesday, the forecast for today was down to 3-5 inches of snow. Thursday and Friday’s forecast bumped the amounts back up to 5-8 inches of snow, and were consistent across all media outlets. The expectation was that the snow would begin very early morning and we’d be looking at a winter wonderland later today. As of this post, it’s 10am, 34°F, and raining. *sigh*. I guess I shouldn’t have been too excited at the forecast. Historically speaking, Indianapolis has only received snowfalls of 6 inches or more on just 54 days in the past 133 years (48,545 days)!
Enjoy your weekend, and here’s hoping this rain turns to snow soon! 🙏🏼
