How do you make mashed potatoes? This combo of ingredients above is loaded with flavor and makes about 4-5 cups of mashed potatoes and will last us several days 🙌 a huge step up, both for flavor and nutrition, from most restaurant varieties... and if you prefer less butter and cream than I use here you can definitely cut back even more... most restaurant versions have way more than needed to make tasty mashed potatoes.
A few things to know:
1️⃣ I’m not really a fan of straight cauliflower mash 😝 (just don’t like the way it tastes or the texture), but I do like throwing some in with regular potatoes to help cut some of the impact on my blood sugars 👍
2️⃣ I always try to use organic butter and cream when possible.
3️⃣ Sautéed onions and garlic add an explosion of flavor that never disappoints!
