14 weeks ago I made the commitment to myself to be more active for the sake of being healthier.
I started with a hard goal of having 30 miles of tracked hiking, jogging, dog walking every week and a soft goal of organically getting 50 miles. I missed the hard goal a couple of weeks due to weather and a cold. I also came within 9 miles or less of 50 miles on three occasions.
Well last week I hit the crushed that 50 miles to get that 60.09 miles you see here.
In the past 14 weeks I have recorded walking hiking, jogging, and running a total of 485.5 miles. A total of 516.1 miles on he year.
I know many people who have struggled with being more active and I want to encourage you to get up, get out there, and get started. Start small, start light, and work your way toward a stronger, healthier, and happier you. Remember it’s a journey, and every journey begins with a committed decision followed by a first step.
