I really appreciate this not being a vegan myself.. So much truth in this text and just like you say @ it's not easy just changing something like that. I admire all that you do. I know it comes from a beautiful place ❤🌹Reposted from @ - There’s no hiding the fact that going vegan definitely helps heal the world.
There’s no hiding the fact that animals are subjected to extreme cruelty and senseless death in the meat & dairy industry.
But there’s also no hiding the fact that breaking tradition and culture along with religious beliefs is very hard for some people. What we have grown up with, what we are used to and what we like, are etched in to our very foundation as human beings. So it’s understandable that it is a very hard transition to make for some to become vegan, even if the desire is there.
We as human beings love to judge each other. Vegans judging meat eaters and vice versa. Vegans judging vegans on their commitment to the vegan lifestyle.
But what we tend to forget is that everyone has their own journey.
You can’t force someone to see or do something they’re not ready for. All you can do is educate those who are willing to listen, and be understanding with those who are not.
Becoming vegan has never been easier than it is today but changing your lifestyle always remain tough so it’s important to know that there is support in a non judgmental way whenever you need it.
