Baked potatoes seasoned with sweet paprika, parsley, & salt. Turmeric spiced cauliflower, garlicky baked zucchini & onions, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, pepper, & steamed sweet potato served over spinach with some oil-free hummus.
Today is my 3rd day being fat-free - hence I omitted the hummus for my meal. Being fat-free definitely feels great for my body.
@ says that a diet high in 3 Cs (Critical Clean Carbohydrates) such as potatoes, squashes, sweet potatoes, etc. & good amount of fruits, & mineral salts from leafy greens, & herbs such as celery, is essential for proper functioning of our livers.👍 A diet in low-fat is critical because then our cells, our liver is able to absorb the glucose from the foods we eat. A high-fat diet (from meat, eggs, oils, nut butters, excessive nuts & seeds) hinders the absorption of glucose in our cells, our liver.
