What does alone time look like for you? When I’m alone, and particularly in the mountains, it’s often a time of reflection. I have a spot in the woods up on a hill. There’s a downed tree and one spot on this tree that dries faster after a rain or a damp night where I always sit and reflect on my life and talk to the Lord about things. Like where I’m missing the mark, so to speak, and how I can improve are common threads and that typically leads to thoughts of my family, my wife, my children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. I pray I’m making progress in loving the Lord and loving my family well. This passage comes to mind. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.” Deuteronomy 6:5-7.
Always working on it and never giving up! Trusting in His grace to finish well! How about you? 😊
Have a glorious day my friends!
