Because we live in a visual world and pretty much every social media platform relies on some type of visual component to go with your captions, I think we sometimes forget that once we hook people in with the visuals we have to deliver, but we must give some kind of value to get them to stick around. So, while your pictures may be pretty and eye-catching they can only get you about 30% of the way and you have to make sure that your captions are engaging enough to make people want to stay on your page.
So, how do you do this? How do you create captions that make your audience pay attention and get the results that you want? It comes down to 3 things. Those three things are who you are writing to, what do you want them to feel when reading your caption, and which actions do you want them to take next? If you can get clear on these things before you write anything, you’ll find that it’s a lot easier for you to create your content.
When people hear the word success, they relate it to the amount of money a person has. But, we all know success is much more than that. Yes, everyone’s definition of success will be different. To truly be successful you have to be able to balance different areas of your life. Success has to do with how much you’re improving your entire being, not just your financial state.
The more successful you become, the higher your standards become. You start to value your time more, the quality of food you ingest matters, you focus more on personal development, upgrading your mindset, skills and open up to new ways of perceiving and thinking.

PT Coach FT Nurse
Back up to 3 years ago. I was a burnt out full time nurse of almost 8 years. Over weight my whole life. In daily meds for heart burn. Blood pressure climbing. Huge risk of colon CA and most likely undiagnosed IBS.
I craved changed. The gym scared me i hated the stress of it. But I went for a year. Didn’t lose a single pound. Then i watched a fellow nurse for a couple months. She was working out 22 min a day. Even on the days she worked. She was happy. Getting great results without the “quick fixes” or restrictive dieting. I decided to give it a try. Skeptic of shakeology. I was encouraged to “try” it. So i did. The community of support was just what i needed for accountability and motivation. I was HOOKED on all 3. Started losing weight. Fell in love with the dense nutrition in shakeology. Off my meds. 60 lbs lost.
When I was first approached with coaching I had the same thought I did when I bought my first pack. Pffft. Scam. No thank you.
Then i realized that if I could save money on a product that has me feeling so good. Wouldn’t it be worth it?! Bring on the discount.
I was then asked to share a small amount of my journey on social media. And my whole world changed. The love and support I gained from just one post. The people looking for change but not knowing where to start. They were just like me. How could i say no!
With simple trainings that work at your own pace, with easy to use apps and leadership from women who want to see you succeed and provided the tools to do so. It was a win win. *continued in comments*
Truly accessible content should be at your fingertips at all times. How many times have you been in a meeting, an interview, or at a show where you need access to the images on your website but find yourself struggling without reliable internet access? #Squarespace is super useable to build your online portfolio. They have some neat templates made especially for this. My favorite one is "York". I love it. Simple, minimal, does what it needs to do.

I am often described as an accidental entrepreneur. I went into business age 23 because I wanted a better life for my boys. I launched my second business to find a happy life again after watching my mum die. I have evolved & grown so much as a person. I have completely designed a life I love. Never be afraid of change, never see a try as a fail my friends !
