Debuting another feature using “The War of The Worlds” which I found the cassette of at @ recently.... On board the TE-2 is this 4 pole OTA 24 dB/octave Voltage Controlled Low Pass Filter heavily influenced by the legendary 70’s Roland VCFs. The filter fully self oscillates and has cv jacks for frequency and resonance as well as multiple ways to control it on board. Demonstrated here is the Cycle function rotating the filter cutoff rapidly with its rate slightly adjusted while also the resonance amount slightly adjusted. The VCF on the TE-2, in all its proper and flexible standard form, is one feature that you may want to use for purposes that do not involve a tape, and to do this you simply patch into the Insert Jack which gives you direct access to the filter for using on anything in your studio. Due to the flexible design of the Insert switch, one can use this filter with guitar pedals, in line level scenarios, and with modular level devices. A vintage 4 pole OTA VCF is nothing to leave unused!
