Creative hobbies and activities are the best ways to truly allow your body to relax and reduce anxiety. I absolutely love yoga and meditation, but when I’m overworked it can often take me most of the class to get out of my own mind and truly submerge myself into the practise. It’s really important for me to use different areas of my brain as an outlet of my natural creativity, which sushi-making with @atsukoskitchen absolutely was! 🍣
Atsuko was an amazing host and teacher for the evening, sharing not only her knife skills, sushi rice making tips and recipes of a variety of sushi types, but also shared an insight into the history of different aspects of sushi. So incredibly fascinating! 🌸
I’ve woken up feeling incredibly grateful and set for the weekend ahead, with my favourite philosophy of my life in mind.
