In case you weren’t paying attention:
Yesterday was a day of solidarity for sexual assault survivors... in light of Brett Kavanaugh being a Supreme Court nominee and women he has assaulted. I thank those who have been brave enough to share their trauma in hope of bringing light to the severity of sexual assault faced in our daily lives. This also should include a discussion about the whorephobia that permeates through our culture. No person should be subjected to violence or non consensual acts because of gender, race, finances, what they are wearing, what they do for a living, etc.
I am constantly in a state of rage that survivors have to fight so hard to be believed and seen. This toxic behavior MUST be held accountable and eradicated. I urge you to do more for your women, femme, POC, & LGBTQIA survivors. I urge you to fight back, #timeisup. **There are allied groups tagged in my post if you want to get involved.**
