🔴Progressive Overload🔴 is a basic principle necessary to build muscle Progressive Overload is the gradual increase of STRESS😜 placed on the body during training. Continuously increasing the demand will cause your body to adapt, by gains in muscle size💪, strength, and endurance. The most common way to implement is by adding more volume over time (increase weight, sets, and reps) Hence why you may always hear “lift heavy” and increase the weight once the last few reps of an exercise become fairly easy. Low quality pic, high quality leg day 🍑 • FULL WORKOUT: *warm up walk on treadmill, air squats, and stretching (and a teeny bit of a yoga flow cause I felt like it) *cable front squats *RDLs *some exercise using the leg extension machine I have no idea what to call it I’m sorry 😂 I used the leg rest part to hold my calves in place and did squats with a plate lol *lying dumbbell hamstring curls *weighted step ups *hip thrusts • I forgot to take the picture of the plan I wrote up soo just kind made it up as I went and it was pretty good!
