Thank you, MAGICAL INDIA!🌟 Thank you for enlightening me in every possible way about your extremely diverse and super interesting culture. - And of course the beautiful, kind and most loveable people I've ever met in my life.
There's a few EXTRA SPECIAL people and now very dear friends, and you all know who you are - THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING❤️ - And especially to @ for being my family away from my family, your kindness is indescribable.
And again, thank you India, for the hundreds of genuine, huuuge smiles that I've come across and for always making me feel VERY SAFE and never, ever alone.
Thank you for your incredible hospitality and for always, always helping me! - Helping me whether it's your 5 GENTLEMEN on the train getting up to move around all the luggage just to make space for and then place my giant, touristy backpack - or whether it's noticing that I didn't come out of my room because I was ill, and then knocking on my door all day, offering me a doctor, food, water, company etc.🙏 .
Thank you so, so much for encouraging me to sing and play, and teaching me soooo much about MUSIC while introducing me to instruments, I've never even heard of before🎶 That means that I'm now coming home with nothing less than 3 NEW INSTRUMENTS, which I have no clue how to play. But who would've known how magical a "jaw harp" is😁
And last but not least, my forever beloved India, thank you for the crazy, wild, challenging, fun, eye opening, inspirational and very important personal journey - a gift that will be forever in my heart🙏
You've tested my patience and my values, and you've taught me, once again, how many other ways there are to perceive and understand life than the one we know in the Western countries😉
Not even a 1000 words of "thank you" would do justice to you, but I'll wrap up my "speech" by saying that "My good name is Ditte-Maria". And no, it doesn't have a higher meaning like all of your incredible names😁
And by the way, I'm addicted to your funny accent and the head shaking👏 - Till we meet again, India☀️
