Mantra for today: it is okay to be okay with missing a workout or not nailing your nutrition. You’re not on a diet, or a crazy plan, you’re just making an effort towards a better lifestyle.
I say this because that’s one thing I used to struggle with. I would f up my meal plan, or miss a workout because of XYZ and I would feel HORRIBLY GUILTY. Before when I would do this, I would feel so guilty I would just never start back up again (because I had already f-ed everything up). HELLLLOOOOOOO 15 lbs of weight gain. I would just continue to eat poorly and make excuses as to why I couldn’t get back on track. NOW, although I feel disappointed that I’m not getting my workout in today, I KNOW I am strong enough to tell my mean girl that I WILL get back on it tomorrow and crush one day at a time. I will NOT give up on myself. Not this time. Not again.
